Interview a Scientist
Interview a Scientist
Science.tv works with a network of Science, Engineering and Technology ambassadors - all of them keen to meet you and answer your questions.
In this workshop students benefit from meeting two role models. The experienced media trainer will prepare them with all the skills they need to conduct a professional interview with a Science Ambassador and to share the experience with the school and wider community via a short film.
This workshop format can be adapted to enable young people to explore the job roles within a science industry sector. This opens students’ minds to the reality of the work place and the opportunities available to them.
Why?
OFSTED require all schools to form connections with industry. This workshop provides a means for schools and businesses to create long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
